James Benjamin Ingram 
James Benjamin was born on December 11th, 1876.1 James Benjamin's father was James Alston Ingram and his mother was Mellie Secrest. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin F. Ingram and Martha Wall. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Jeremiah Long, Willie B, Cora Virginia, Martha Beulah, Eliza Bell, Henrietta, Mary Eva and Alma George. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
