Fannie Faye was born on May 31st, 1882 in Grandview Township, Washington County, Ohio.1 Fannie Faye's father was Joseph Dodds and her mother was Catherine M. Bell. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Dodds and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Bell and Christiana Deter. She had a brother and four sisters, named Charles A., Mary Bell, Christina Elizabeth, Laura Eleanor and Margaret Lillian. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 81 on June 16th, 1963 in Franklin County, Ohio, buried in Union Cemetary, Columbus, Ohio.1 General Notes

Fannie was sixteen when she came to live in Columbus Ohio.
Cause of Death - Coronary Occlusion due to hypertensive cardio-vascular disease. She had this condition for 15 years, according to her death certificate. Coronary Occlusion is the total obstruction of the blood flow in a coronary artery.
