John Franklin Dilley 
John Franklin was born in 1820.1 John Franklin's father was Joseph A Dilley and his mother was Elizabeth Matthews. His paternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. He had a brother and three sisters, named Barney, Armida Elizabeth, Margaret and Minerva. He was the third oldest of the five children.General Notes

John Franklin Dilley was in the army in the Minnesota Cavalry during the Civil War. He resided in St Paul Minnesota where he enlisted.
