John Dilley 
John was born on October 24th, 1834.1 John's father was Barnett Dilley and his mother was Minerva Cooper. His paternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland; his maternal grandfather was Charles Cooper Cooper. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Washington, William, Harvey, Willis, Margaret Candace, Delilah, Rebecca and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
