I have a Local History/Genealogy User Guide for Kenton Co. Library. They have some church records which include St. Paul Evangelical in Covington for the years 1847 to 1937, Film location: CHUR-K 27. That could provide some nice details. They also have records on the church where Ambrose (Roy's father) married his second wife Cynthia Call in 1890, the Immanuel M.E. Church, 1847-1937, CHUR-K 27. I have a copy of their marriage certificate, but not of Ambrose and Roy's mother, Fannie (Rebecca Lewis).
I wasn't able to pull up the picture you sent.
