Benjamin was born about 1780 in ,Prince Edward, VA.1 Benjamin's father was Francis WATKINS and his mother was Agnes WOODSON. His maternal grandparents were Richard "Baron" WOODSON and Ann Madelin (Woodson) MICHEAUX. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Francis Junior, Henry Edward, Joseph, Elizabeth, Agnes Woodson, Selina Ann and Frances Anderson. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died in 1816 in ,Goochland, VA. He was buried in 1816 in ,Goochland, VA.1 1 -
