Isabel de was born about 1222 in Colne, Essex, England.1 Isabel de's father was Hugh De Vere and her mother was Hawise de Quincy. Her paternal grandparents were Robert De Vere and Isabel de Bolebec; her maternal grandparents were Saher IV de QUINCY and Hawise Mrs De Quincy. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert de, Aubrey de, Richard de, Lora de, Margaret de and Maud de. She died on August 11th, 1299 in Okehampton, Devonshire, England. She was buried in Church of the Black Friars, Exeter, Devonshire.1 1 General Notes
