Charles was born on September 23rd, 1763 in ,Cmbrln Co., Cumberland, VA.1 Charles' father was Richard POVALL and his mother was Tabitha HUDSPETH. His paternal grandparents were John POVALL and Elizabeth WOODSON. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named John, Richard, Lucy, Sarah, Rachel, Betty, Mary, Patty Patsey, Ann, Susanna and Judith. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 65 on March 18th, 1829 in ,,Cumberland, VA.1 -
