Alan de was born in 1069.1 Alan de's father was William de Percy and his mother was Emma de Port. His paternal grandfather was Geoffrey de Percie; his maternal grandfather was Hugh de Port. He had three brothers named Richard de, Walter de and William de. He died in of Topcliffe.1 General Notes
