Robert de was born in 1100 in Le Neubourg, Normandy, France and his baptism took place in Pont-Audemer, Eure, France.1 Robert de's father was Henry de BEAUMONT and his mother was Margaret De Perche. His paternal grandparents were Roger de BEAUMONT and Adeliza (Adeline) MEULENT; his maternal grandparents were Geoffrey de Mortaigne and Beatrice De Montdidier. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Roger De, Henry De, Geoffrey De, Rotrou Bishop Of, Richard De, Milo de, Payne de, Simon de, Walter Nicholas de, Margery De, Agnes De, Daughter De and Adeline de. He died at the age of 58 on August 30th, 1158 in Abbey Of Bec, Normandy, France.1 General Notes
