Gilbert de was born in 1106 in of Edwardstone, Suffolkshire, England.1 Gilbert de's father was Hubert de Munchesni and his mother was Agnes FitzJohn. His paternal grandfather was Hubert de Munchesni; his maternal grandparents were Payn FitzJohn and Sybil de Lacy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Hugh de, Warine de, John de and Sarah de. He died at the age of 24 on September 29th, 1130.1 -
