Robert de Mandeville 
Robert de was born in 1146 in Rycott, Oxford, England.1 Robert de's father was Geoffrey De Mandeville and his mother was Rohese de VERE. His paternal grandparents were William I de Mandeville and Margaret de Rie; his maternal grandparents were Aubrey II de VERE and Adeliza (Alice) de CLARE. He had three brothers and a sister, named Ernulf de, Geoffrey de (FitzPiers), William de and Maud de. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 43 in 1189 in England.1 General Notes
