Robert was born in 1748 in ,,Henrico, VA.1 Robert's father was John Jr. MOSBY and his mother was Lucy ALLEN. His paternal grandparents were John Mosby and Martha WOMACK. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Joseph, William, Hezekiah, Samuel, Susanna, Elizabeth, Mary, Lucy, Ann (Nancy) and Martha (Patsy). He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died before 1801 in ,Henrico County, Virginia.1 -
