Nicholas was born on December 26th, 1788 in ,,Cumberland, VA.1 Nicholas' father was Nicholas MOSBY and his mother was Susanna HOBSON. His paternal grandparents were Hezikiah Mosby and Elizabeth COX. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert Claborne, William, Edward, Thomas Hobson, Nancy, Susanna, Frances Cannon, Jane, Sally Hobson and Elizabeth Cox. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 30 on December 18th, 1819 in ,,Woodford, Kty.1 -
