MCDONALD was born about 1816 in ,,Ky.¹   MCDONALD's father was Francis Marion MCDONALD and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were John MCDONALD and Sarah. He had six sisters named Sarah Ann, Polly, John, MCDONALD, Mary A. and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
