James A. Jennings

James A. was born on October 17th, 1842 in TN.¹   James A.'s father was Benjamin F. Jennings and his mother was Mary D. Black.  His paternal grandparents were Jackson Jennings and Nancy Jennings. He had four brothers and four sisters, named George W., Green Douglas, William B., Benjamin Franklin, Lusendy A., Martha J., Columbia J. and Allie.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph Authur, Charley Anderson, Lee, Perry Alonzo, Alfred D., Linda, Julie M. B., Sara F. and Milinda F..  He died at the age of 20 on February 4th, 1863 in Fayetteville, Washington Co., AR.¹
