Peter was born in 1664.1 Peter's father was Edmund Jenings and his mother was Margaret Barkman. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Jenings and Elizabeth J Parker; his maternal grandfather was Edward Barkman. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, William, Edmund, Anne, Elizabeth and Mary.
