Karl's father was Johannes PERSSON and his mother was Maria Kristina UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Albert 'JOHANSSON', Levand, Ida and Selma. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John Sanfried, Emma Mathilda and Anna.General Notes

Karl and brother Levand (birth date unknown) were partners in owning the home farm, apparently having purchased the place from their fathe. Karl became the eventual sole owner after buying the share of Levand, who died in 1914, from Levand/s widow Karl moved to Nygarden in 1923 and died in 1942
