Svyatoslav I was born in July 0942 in Of Kiev, Ukraine.1 Svyatoslav I's father was Igor Rurikivich and his mother was of Kiev St Olga. His paternal grandfather was Rurik; his maternal grandfather was Prince Of Kiev Oleg. He was an only child. He died at the age of 31 in 0973.1 General Notes
