Her paternal grandparents were Walter FITZROGER and Emma de BALLON; her maternal grandparents were Bernard II de Neufmarch and Nesta verch Trahaern. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Roger, Walter FitzMiles of, Walter, William FitzMiles of, William, Henry FitzMiles of, Michel Mahel, Mahel, Margaret of, Margaret de, Bertha de and Mabel.
