Robert William de was born in 1100 in of Derbyshire, England.1 Robert William de's father was Robert de Ferrers and his mother was Hawise de Vitre. His paternal grandparents were Henri de Ferrers and Berta Roberts; his maternal grandparents were Andre de Vitre and Agnes de Mortaigne. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William de, Walcheline de, Maud de, Hawise de, daughter de, Isolde de and Petronilla de. He died at the age of 60 in 1160 in Merevale, Warwickshire, England.1 General Notes
