George Drye

George was born in 1786 in Mechlenburg Co. NC.¹ George's father was Jacob Drye and his mother was Mary Goldman. His maternal grandfather was Henry Goldman. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Sarah Ann Sally. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 69 on April 29th, 1855 in Monroe Co. MO.¹
