Doris Edna was born on August 21st, 1906.1 Doris Edna's father was William Crawford Dowlin and her mother was Hannah Van Dyke FOWLER. Her maternal grandparents were Edward Reado FOWLER and Mary Francis Riggs. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Leland Reado, Clifford Clayton, Florence and Rita Mabel. She was the youngest of the five children.-
