Myrtle Ima was born on June 7th, 1889 in Sherman, Texas.¹ Myrtle Ima's father was William Wooden Dawson and her mother was Harriet Gertrude FOWLER. Her maternal grandparents were John Barr FOWLER and Olive Naomi Lewis. She had four brothers and a sister, named ROY Barr, Robert Flynn, Walter Wayne, Russell B. and Dulcie Delone. She was the oldest of the six children.
