Edward was born in March 1878 in Durham (Washington) AR.1 Edward's father was Ira (Tobe) Collins and his mother was Eliza Jane Ash. His paternal grandparents were Alfred Collins and Patsy A. Snodgrass; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Ash and Nancy Jane Ward. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William R., Oliver L., John, Alfred, Ira Arthur (Bud), Amanda J., Minnie E. and Patsy Ann. He died at the age of 58 in 1936. He was buried in Triplett Cem. Near Texana, OK.1 1 -
