Charles Carter

Charles was born in 1707 in Corotoman, Lancaster Co..¹ Charles' mother was Elizabeth Landon. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Landon and Mary Saint Leger. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, George, Landon, Ludlow, Ann, Lucy, Mary, Sarah and Betty. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 57 in 1764 in VA.¹
