Thomas de was born about 1193 in of Ellesborough, Buckinghamshire.1 Thomas de's father was William de Cantelou and his mother was Mecelin de BRACI. His paternal grandfather was William de Cantelou; his maternal grandfather was Adulph de BRACI. He had four brothers and a sister, named William II de, Walter II de, John de, Nicholas de and Juliana de. He was the youngest of the six children.General Notes
