Benjamin was born on August 20th, 1768 in ,,Cumberland, VA.1 Benjamin's father was Joseph Carrington and his mother was Theodosia Mosby. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin MOSBY and Mary POINDEXTER. He had six brothers and a sister, named Paul, Littleberry, William, Colin, Joseph, George and Patty. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on November 28th, 1838 in ,,Cumberland, VA. He was buried in November 1838.1 1 -
