Humphrey IV de Bohun 
Humphrey IV de was born in 1143 in Gloucester, England.1 Humphrey IV de's father was Humphrey III de Bohun and his mother was Margaret of Hereford. His paternal grandparents were Humphrey II De Bohun and Maud de Evereux; his maternal grandparents were Miles FitzWalter and Sybil de NEUFMARCHE. He was an only child. He died at the age of 39 in 1182 in (prob) France.1 General Notes

Arnaud-Bellee, 1978: According the the chronicle of Lanthony, Humphrey IV was earl of Herefor d and constable of England. But he died before his father, probably in 1182 in France while s erving Henry the younger, so he never had the titles. Humphrey was married to Margaret of Sco tland (who died 1201), daughter of Henry, earl of Huntington, and sister of King William th e Lion of Scotland, and widow of Conan le Petit, earl of Brittany and Richmond (who died 1171 ). After Humphrey's death, his widow confirmed the gift of a marketplace to the priory of Br adenstoke that he had specified in his will.
