Ann was born about 1386 in Elvaston, Derbyshire, ENG.1 Ann's father was Walter Blount and her mother was Sancha de Ayala. Her paternal grandparents were John de Blount and Eleanor de Beauchamp; her maternal grandparents were Diego Gomez de Toledo and Inez Alfonsa de Ayala. She had four brothers and a sister, named Walter, Thomas, James, Peter and Constance. She was the youngest of the six children.-
