Maud de was born about 1116 in Of, Bramber, Sussex, England.1 Maud de's father was Philip de Braose and her mother was Aenor de TOTNAIS. Her paternal grandparents were William de Braose and Agnes de ST CLARE; her maternal grandparents were Judeal Johel de TOTENAIS and Miss de PECGUIGNY. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Philip de, Gildon de, William de and Daughter de. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died in 1201.
