Anna Barbara was born on July 31st, 1745 in Lancaster Co., PA. Anna Barbara's father was Lawrence Slaymaker and her mother was Eva Elizabeth Eckman. Her paternal grandparents were Mathias Schleiermacher and Catharine Schiebel; her maternal grandparents were Johannes Eckman and Eva Dorothea Seitz. She had a half-brother named Johann Michael. She died at the age of 44 on January 1st, 1790 in Cumberland Co., PA.General Notes

After the death of her father, her mother remarried to Jacob Pfoutz.
Apparently Eva & Jacob were treating her badly, and her grandfather,
Mathias Slaymaker, petitioned the court for custody, which he won.
