Jarvis Beckett was born in 1806 in Lancaster Co., PA. Jarvis Beckett's father was Edward Mott and his mother was Faithful Slaymaker. His maternal grandparents were Amos Slaymaker and Isabella Fleming. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 in 1863.General Notes
