Samuel Linn 
Samuel was born on January 17th, 1818 in Rockingham Co., VA. Samuel's father was Samuel Linn and his mother was Catharine Slaymaker. His maternal grandparents were John Slaymaker and Elizabeth White. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John Slaymaker, Robert Alexander, Maryann, Elizabeth and Ellen Jane. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 32 on August 2nd, 1850.General Notes
