Minnie Evans was born on July 4th, 1874 in Hillsboro, Highland Co., OH. Minnie Evans' father was Robert Alexander Linn and her mother was Elizabeth Evans. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Linn and Catharine Slaymaker. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Duffield, William Dickey, Katherine Slaymaker, Margaret Elizabeth and Lucy Ann. She was the youngest of the six children.General Notes
