Violetta Howard 
Violetta was born on September 22nd, 1759. Violetta's father was Cornelius Howard and her mother was Ruth Eager. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Howard and Joanna O'Carroll; her maternal grandparents were John Eager and Jemima Morray. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George, Joshua, John Eager, Cornelius, James, Philip, Rachel, Ruth, Rachel and Anne. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 84 on February 21st, 1844.General Notes

Violetta Howard married Joseph West of Rhode Island (of the Revolutionary
Army); they died at the original Howard settlement in the "Garrison
Forest", Baltimore Co., MD, having had one child, John (or Joseph) Howard
West, b. Feb. 5, 1786, d Aug. 12, 1791.
