Barbara was born about 1645 in England. Barbara's father was Richard Hatton and her mother was Margaret Banks. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Hatton and Margaret Astone. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Richard, Thomas, Mary, Eleanor and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
