John Griffith

John was born about 1675 in Calvert Co., MD.  John's father was Samuel II Griffith and his mother was Mary Katherine Wood.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Griffith and Elizabeth Evans; his maternal grandfather was Robert Wood. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lewis, Samuel III, Benjamin, Ann, Rebecca and Bathsheba.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
