Christopher Gist

Christopher was born on September 21st, 1734. Christopher's father was Nathaniel Gist and his mother was Mary Howard. His paternal grandparents were Richard Gist and Zipporah Murray; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Howard and Joanna O'Carroll. He had three brothers and a sister, named Nathaniel, Joshua, Richard and Zipporah. He was the second oldest of the five children.
