Charles was born on November 23rd, 1870 in Iowa Co., IA.  Charles' father was Philip Dickel and his mother was Louise Lauber. He had a brother named Christian.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 39 on July 14th, 1910 in High Amana, IA.  He was buried in High Amana, IA.1
