Mathilde was born in 1200 in Breconshire, WALES. Mathilde's father was Reginald De BRAOSE and her mother was Gladys De BRIWERE. Her paternal grandparents were (Lord) William De BRAOSE and Maud De SAINT VALERIE; her maternal grandparents were Llewellyn Ap LOWERTH and Tangwystl * UNKNOWN. She was an only child. She died at the age of 49 in 1249 in Llanbadarn Fawr, Perfedd, Cardiganshire, WALES.
