Charles was born on July 25th, 1797 in Virginia.1   Charles' father was Benjamin Harris and his mother was Lucy Conway.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Harris and Lucy Camp.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 74 on April 1st, 1872.1
