Rosa Milly was born on August 21st, 1884 in Westminster, Oconee Co., SC.1 Rosa Milly's father was Joseph Parker McDonald and her mother was Julia Ann Sarepta Frances Winter. Her maternal grandparents were James Cook Winter and Serepta Ann Glenn. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry Winter, James Parker (Jim), George Shaffer, Anna Alberta, Sara Fleda, Sarepta Glenn (Seppie) and Susan Beulah. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
