Roger de Salmsbury

Roger was born about 1180 in Samlesbury, Lancashire, England.¹ Roger's father was Gospatric de Salmsbury and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Swain de Hindley and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died in 1227.²

General Notes
- Swain son of Leofwin held the Burnhull share of Hindley, Lancashire, and gave it to a certain Gospatric in free marriage; in 1212 Roger the son of Gospatric held this portion of Thomas de Burnhull.
