Thomas was born in 1150 in Multon, Lincolnshire, England.1   Thomas' father was Lambert de Multon and his mother was Hawise de Briwere.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas de Multon and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Briwere and <Unknown>. He had two sisters named Hawise and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died before 1201.1
