Robert de Insula

Robert was born about 1710.¹ Robert's father was Robert de Insula and his mother was Galiena le Blount. His maternal grandparents were 3rd Baron of Ixworth William le Blount and Sarah de Munchesni. He was an only child.

General Notes
- This Robert was probably son of Robert de Insula by Galiena, daughter of William Blund. Geoffrey Ridell, Archdeacon of Canterbury, gave the said Galiena on her marriage to Robert, the land that was Mainer the Porter's at Exning. Confirmed by Henry II. [Complete Peerage VIII:69 note (e)]
