Her paternal grandparents were Siegneur of Comminges Roger of Carcassone I and Adelaide of Rouergue; her maternal grandparents were Count of Bigorre Garcie Arnaldo and Ricar d'Astarac. She had a sister named Gerberge. She was the older of the two children.
