Joshua Underwood

Joshua was born in 1823. Joshua's father was Caleb Underwood and his mother was Elizabeth Wardrum. His paternal grandparents were James Underwood and Keziah Powell Ogden. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Younger, Frances, James, Elizabeth 'Betsy', Mary 'Polly' and Martha 'Patsy'. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Parthenia.
