Edward was born on January 30th, 1637 in Somersetshire, England.1  Edward's father was John Thruston and his mother was Thomasine (Rich) Warren.  His paternal grandparents were Malachias Thruston and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Malachy, Robert, John, Simon, Justian, Grace, Thomasine, Alice, Melicious and Ann.  He died at the age of 80 in 1717.1
