Hugh (le Diable) Sire VI

Hugh, known as le Diable, was born about 1039 in Lusignan, France.¹ Le Diable's father was Hugh (Le Debonnaire) Sire V and his mother was Almodis de la Haute Marche. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Sire IV and Aldearde; his maternal grandparents were Bernard de la Marche I and Countess Amelie Aubnay. He had a half-brother named Towhead. He died in 1110.¹
